Wanna Build a Worm Tower?
The final idea that I will share with you today is that of worm towers. A warm tower is a way to invite the worms that already occur in your soil, closer to the surface. Worms borough small holes through soil. These holes not only aerate the soil but also line the holes with beneficial bacteria. The worm tower is a great way to amend small areas while providing a useful place for our food scraps, all in one! It’s also a great way to ease into composting. There are many tutorials online for ideas on how to create a worm tower. Find the one that suits your space best!
