Muscles Soreness/Growing Pains

Muscles Soreness/Growing Pains

Whether from a hard workout, some unexpected heavy lifting or just the regular growing pains of youth sometimes we need some fast relief from our aches and pains. Heat helps but these extra additions can have you feeling better lickity-split!

Take a soak!

An epsom salt bath will help relax muscles and ease pains. Add one to two cups into your bath and soak for at least 20 minutes. Some people are a little sensitive to epsom salts so another great alternative is magnesium flakes.

Topical solutions

Apply magnesium oil directly on the affected area and you will feel relief in moments! If this causes you to itch it could mean that you are magnesium deficient and should increase your daily intake. For daily use apply on soft tissue areas, such as behind your knees, the soles of your feet or the insides of your arms.

Give it a rub

dōTERRA Deep Blue Rub is an essential oil blend of Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, and Osmanthus. Deep Blue Rub is a critical addition to your bathroom cabinet and gym bag. Rub right on the affected area and enjoy the relief!

Supplement for the Save

MyoCalm is my favorite natural muscle relaxation supplement on the market. It will help relive everything from pain from pulled muscles, to stress, even restless leg syndrome! It also comes in a nighttime formula as well.
